Dougall Media, the parent company of Rock 94, has decided it will not be airing the play by play broadcasts of Thunderwolves hockey away games this season. Instead, both Rock 94 and its sister station 91.5 CKPR will provide updates three times per hour during the Wolves road games.

"Dougall Media has enjoyed providing its listeners with the play by play broadcasts of the Thunderwolves away games over the past 10 years on both Rock 94 and 91.5 CKPR, said Cora Cambly, Dougall Medias Director of Marketing, Promotions and Web Operations. Our goal has always been to provide a product that will entertain our listeners as well as keep them up to date and informed about their favorite local hockey team while on the road, Cambly added. We look forward to continuing to provide this information not only on Rock 94, but its sister radio station 91.5 CKPR, just in a new way, with the Thunderwolves game updates. These updates will air three times per hour for every away game throughout the season while continuing to play the music that our listeners want to hear."

Thunderwolves Hockey Executive Director Jason Mallon is appreciative of the support Dougall Media provides to the program. "Dougall Media has been a fantastic partner of Thunderwolves hockey, and we know our fans have appreciated their broadcasts of our road games, Mallon said. Wed like to thank Dougall Media, as well as announcer Bryan Wyatt, for airing these games for the past 10 seasons. We understand that the new format is not the same, but we encourage our fans to tune into Rock 94 and 91.5 CKPR to get the latest updates on how the Thunderwolves our doing on the road."
