Lakehead Thunderwolves men's hockey defenceman Kalvin Sagert has decided to return to the Thunderwolves after spending a successful week at the Edmonton Oilers Rookie Camp.
Sagert, one of Lakehead's top recruits this season, took part in two games; a 3-2 win over the University of Alberta Golden Bears and a 7-0 win over the Alberta Colleges Athletics Association All Stars.
Sagert played very well in both games and put in an excellent performance at the Oilers Camp and gained valuable experience that will only help him this season with the Wolves. However Sagert decided that education is his top priority right now and so is returning to the Pack.
Sagert will return to Thunder Bay Friday night and rejoin the Wolves in practise beginning on Monday.
