Adam Sergerie (Thunder Bay, Ont.) was named the OUA Athlete of the Week after an impressive weekend in his final regular season home games as a member of the Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey team. On Friday night, the fifth-year senior forward scored a goal and added an assist on the game tying goal, before scoring the winning marker in the sixth round of a shootout to down Waterloo 4-3. He followed that up with a hat-trick and an assist in the Thunderwolves 9-3 dismantling of the Warriors on Saturday.
Sergerie now has 11 goals and7 helpers in OUA regular season play for the Thunderwolves (15 goals and 9 assists including non-conference games), who are currently tied for second place in the OUA West.
