TBT-CTV Partners with TSN for Western Game!

The Feb. 19th home game between the Lakehead Thunderwolves and the Western Mustangs that is being broadcast by Thunder Bay Television-CTVhas been picked up as part of TSN's upcoming hockey special; Hockey Lives Here. TSN will be showing segments of the Lakehead vs. Western game as part of its upcoming program.

However, it is veryimportant to note that the entire game will be broadcast by Thunder Bay Television-CTV Channel 4-Cable 6 locally, locally on Bell Express Vu Satellite TV on Channel 222, and nationally across Canada on the Star Choice Satellite Network on Channel 314.

Lakehead Athletic Director Tom Warden said the extra coverage by TSN of the TBT-CTV broadcast is good for Lakehead. "This is a fantastic opportunity for our university, our hockey team, and the community of Thunder Bay. It will give us a chance to showcase exciting CIS hockey to an even wider national audience."

The 'Hockey Lives Here" special will showcase hockey events and features from all over Canada and will run from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Feb. 19th. The show will be anchored by TSN's hockey broadcast team including Pierre McGuire, Gord Miller, Bob McKenzie, James Duthie, Dave Hodge, Gino Reda, Dave Randorf, Glenn Healy and Brian Burke.

The game is being produced and televised by TBT-CTV and the Western game will be the second that they will be broadcasting this season. The first game will be the Saturday Feb. 12th game when the Thunderwolves host the Brock Badgers with game time at 7:30 pm EST. This game will be televised by TBT-CTV on Channel 4-Cable 6 locally, also locally on Bell Express Vu Satellite TV on Channel 222, and nationally across Canada on the Star Choice Satellite Network on Channel 314. The Brock game will not be shown on TSN.
