OHL Standout & Local Talent Selects the Thunderwolves.

The Thunderwolves Hockey program is thrilled to announce the exciting addition of local talent Nick DeGrazia to their roster. DeGrazia, who attended the Calgary Flames development camp, and standout player for the OHL Sudbury Wolves, has officially committed to joining the Thunderwolves. During his tenure with the OHL Sudbury Wolves, DeGrazia consistently displayed his prowess on the ice, with his remarkable goal-scoring ability scoring 25 goals in just 53 games in 2022-23. His standout performance in the OHL had garnered the attention of NHL teams, offering him a unique opportunity to speak with National Hockey League teams. In his final two seasons with the Sudbury Wolves, Degrazia posted 99 points in 118 games played.

"We are super excited to add a player of Nick's caliber to our forward group. Nick plays with a lot of speed and has the ability to attack and make plays all over the ice. He will be a player that steps in and impacts the game in all situations. We are looking forward to helping Nick improve his game." - Head Coach Andrew Wilkins.

"I'm excited to join Lakehead University as a student athlete. I'm happy to be in Thunder Bay and I can't wait to play at the Fort William Gardens in front of family and friends." Nick Degrazia.

The Thunderwolves will kick off their season on the road in Brock before coming home in front of our passionate fans October 13th vs the Waterloo Warriors.
