Lakehead Thunderwolves Hockey is pleased to announce the addition of goaltender Alex Dupuis of Thunder Bay to their 2009-10 roster.
Dupuis backstopped the Summerside Western Capitals to a Maritime Junior A Hockey League championship last season before competing at the RBC Cup, Canadas national Junior A hockey championship in Victoria. During his playoff run, Dupuis posted an outstanding 12-1 record with 1 shutout, a 2.31 GAA, and a .921 save percentage.

The 20 year old posted a 20-10-5 record with 5 shutouts and a 2.61 goals against average during his 2008-09 season with Summerside.
In previous seasons, Dupuis spent time with the Charlottetown Abbies of the MJHL (2007-08) and the Lindsay Muskies of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (2006-07).
At Lakehead, Dupuis will study in the kinesiology and concurrent education programs.
Im excited about joining the Thunderwolves hockey program, Dupuis said. It's a great opportunity for me to play in my hometown for an organization building towards winning a national championship.
Scherban is pleased to add a local product to the Thunderwolves goaltending group, joining third-year netminder Kyle Moir of Calgary.
We are excited to have Alex join the Thunderwolves Program. Alex is an athletic goalie who led his team to a MJAHL championship last season and an appearance at the RBC Cup.
