In front of the largest crowd of the season (2197) and on the annual Teddy Bear toss game the Thunderwolves defeated Toronto 6-4.

The Wolves came out of the starting blocks flying and getting multiple scoring opportunities before the Teddy Bears were tossed when Ben Badalamenti would open the scoring on a feed from Tyler Ho.

The Wolves would strike again shortly after the bears were picked up to go up 2-0 when Jordan King would bang in a loose puck in the goal mouth past Toronto netminder Jett Alexander.

Before the period was out Ben Badalamenti would get his second goal of the game off of a gorgeous feed from Joe Mack to put the Wolves up 3-0 after the first.

In the second stanza Toronto would storm back in the first half of the period with Quinn Hanna, David Thomson and Cole Purboo scoring three goals in a span of four minutes and eight seconds to tie the game up 3-3.

The Wolves would respond in the back half of the period when Ben Badalamenti would complete the hatrick when he picked up his own rebound and tucked it in, with a wrap around to give the Wolves the lead 4-3.

Before the period was up Tyler Ho would clean up a rebound and easily beat Alexander to put the Wolves up 5-3 heading into the break.

In the final frame Toronto's Owen Robinson would strike on the powerplay when he beat Wolves netminder Brock Aiken with a bullet of a one timer to cut the Wolves lead to 5-4.

Lakehead would strike late in the period when Freshmen Dylan Massie would score into the empty net and seal the win for the Thunderwolves.
