The Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey team hosted a mini-sticks tournament at the PACI gymnasium on Saturday, with 240 kids on 60 teams taking part.
The participants were ages 7 to 12, and five different age division champs were crowned at the end of the affair. The winning teams received medals and hockey sticks, and all the players had a good time.
