The Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey team will begin training camp this Tuesday, September 7th at the Thunder Bay Tournament Centre. The camp will kick off the tenth anniversary season for the defending OUA West Division champions. The team is rich in experience as 19 players are returning from last years squad, and with the addition of some highly regarded recruits in the mix, expectations for the 2010-11 season are high.
Head Coach Joel Scherban said The coaching staff is anxious to begin the new season, and were looking forward to another successful year. With so many returning players on the roster, were eager to see how we compete with the best teams in the league again.
The team will be on the ice from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily for the entire week and the sessions will be open to the general public, so any interested fans are welcome to come out and watch.
