The Lakehead University Thunderwolves hockey team will begin training camp on August 29 at the Port Arthur Arena to jump start the Wolves 2016-17 campaign.
20 players are returning from last years squad and four new commitments have already been announced, but there is still an opportunity for walk-ons to impress during camp and make the team.
Regardless, Lakehead will be a much more experienced club than it was last season.
The team will scrimmage from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. daily for the first week with the exception of 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. All sessions will be open to the general public.
