Lakehead Athletics is very happy to announce that the Thunderwolves Power Hour is back for its second season on Lakehead Radio CILU 102.7 FM in Thunder Bay and on the web at www.luradio.ca.
The Power Hour is a weekly Lakehead Athletics sports magazine show that features current news on Lakehead Athletics and varsity sports as well as live interviews with athletes, coaches, alumni, and personnel. The Power Hour this year will also feature songs from local Lakehead University and Thunder Bay bands to keep things rocking!
The Power Hour will again be hosted by Lakehead Sports Information Director Mike Aylward and Argus campus paper Sports Editor Alan Wickware.
The Power Hour will air every Wednesday from 3:00-4:00 pm EST. This year the show kicks off on Sep. 20th. The Sep. 20th show will feature the Wolves Hockey Preview with Head Coach Pete Belliveau.

2) Ex: Lakehead Thunderwolves Heavyweight Wrestler Rob MacDonald who now fights as an Ultimate Fighter in the UFC and is a Toronto Police Officer!
