Playing for Canada has been a chance of a lifetime. We played the Czechs and lost 5-4, but we deserved a better outcome. If the game had been in Thunder Bay in front of our crowd, the place would have blown up. You could tell that the refs didn't like the hard-hitting Canadian style we play.

At the end of the game, the Czech team cleared the bench and went after our five guys on the ice, which led to Mike Rice skating around like Jeff Kugel and he had to be taken down by a tranquilizer gun. The coaches had to hold us back from jumping onto the ice.

Today we walked around downtown and it's very beautiful. I'm currently looking for an apartment so I might not be back.just kidding! The foods been unreal, with a lot of pasta. The only problem is being here and not being able to help the boys back home in Thunder Bay.

The atmosphere in the tournment is great and first class. I find myself looking down and staring at the Canadian crest on our sweaters and feeling so proud to be representing all Canadians at these games.
