(Editor's Note: This is the first in a series of reports by Thunderwolves' players at the Winter Universiade Games in Innsbruck/Seefeld, Austria.)
Our first few days were rather busy trying to figure out how everything was going to work; seemed like we didn't do much but eat, practise and try to sleep. Yesterday was our most interesting day so far because we took a bus back into Munich in nearby Germany and visited 'Dachau' the first concentration camp, which was very interesting.

We walked around the camp for about three hours getting to see everything from the gas cambers (the showers) to the huge ovens that were used to get rid of the bodies of the victims. To see it on a movie is one thing; to see it in real life is another.

Then it was back on the bus, rushing, trying not to be late for our scheduled exhibition game vs. the Innsbruck elite team that is in second place in the Austrian Elite league. However, we got back and they never showed up, which led to a practise.

Today, the games kick off with the opening ceremonies and the first two hockey games, we will be watching the Austrian team play the USA.
