This weeks CIS Male Athlete of the Week is Mike Wehrstedt of Lakehead mens hockey. Wehrstedt, the fourth year senior assistant captain and General Arts student from Thunder Bay, Ontario, proved he could lead his team as he scored both overtime game winning goals against the York Lions in both Lakeheads 3-2 quadruple overtime epic in Thunder Bay on Wednesday and then again in the Wolves 4-3 double overtime win in Toronto on Saturday. Because of Wehrstedt's OT heroics in both York games; the Wolves now move onto the next round of the OUA playoffs.
