Brock Aiken making his first start since early November put in a stellar effort in the Wolves 2-1 OT loss to the Lancers.

It was a battle between the pipes in the game tonight between Windsor's Nathan Torchia and Lakehead's Brock Aiken. Both netminders stood tall making save after save all game long.

The first period would see Windsor strike first when Nolan Gardiner found the back of the net after multiple wacks at the loose puck in the crease to squeak it by Aiken.

Lakehead would respond :31 later when Zach Fortin would fire a shot on net from the point and Joe Mack would pounce on the rebound to knot the game up at 1.

The next two periods would see both teams get multiple scoring chance but Aiken and Torchia would close the door everytime.

The game would go to overtime and it would not take Windsor long to net the winner. forty one seconds to be exact as Anthony Stefano would fire a shot from the high slot and it would hit the side of Aiken's mask and roll of of his shoulder and drop in behind him to end the game.

Aiken would stop 25 of 27 shots on the night with Torchia stopping 37 of 38.
