Despite a win and a tie with No. 5 team McGill; the Lakehead Thunderwolves again remained just outside this weeks CIS mens hockey Top Ten poll with a No. 11 ranking. Moncton, Alberta, and UNB all remained at the No. 1-3 positions while Saskatchewan moved up to No. 4 from No. 6. McGill was treated kindly by the Top 10 voters as they remain at the No. 5 position. Waterloo made a big jump from No. 10 to No. 6 this week while Laurier moved to No. 7 from No. 9. UQTR made the big drop of this weeks poll moving to No. 8 from No. 4. Calgary dropped one spot to No. 9 and St. Thomas fell three spots to No. 10.

This is the last CIS Top Ten for the first half of the 2006-07 season. The CIS Mens Ice Hockey Top Ten will return on Tuesday, January 9, 2007, following the Christmas break.
