Wolves fall to Ryerson 5-2

After six OUA regular season games the Wolves sit at 2-4 after falling to Ryerson 5-2.

Ryerson cmae out guns ablazing scoring two goals in a span of 23 seconds. First Domenico Commisso would take a pass from Jaren Walsh and wrist a shot past Max Wright. Then on the ensuing powerplay Hayden McCool would tip in a Gregory DiTomaso point shot past Wright for Ryerson's second of the period.

Lakehead would respond just past the mid way point of the first period when Griffen Fox would take a pass from Spencer Blackwell and rifle it home to cut the Ryerson lead to one.

With 32 seconds remaing in the period Ryerson's Commisso would pick off a pass and head up the ice on a 2 on 1 with Kyle Bollers who would score his first of two pop in the rebound from Commisso's shot and put Ryerson up 3-1 heading into the break.

In the second period Jackson Doherty would sneak a snap shot past Wright to put Ryerson up 4-1.

In the third period Tyler Ho would cut the lead to two when he blasted a wrist shot past Luke Perissini to make the score 4-2.

Kyler Bollers would finish the scoring off with an empty net goal to seal the win over the Thunderwolves.

Thunderwolves next home games are November 19 and 20 vs The Toronto Varsity Blues.

The annual Toys for Tots Teddy Bear toss game is set for Saturday night.
