Wolves Move Up to No. 5 in CIS Top 10

The Lakehead Thunderwolves mens hockey team moved up two spots in the first CIS Top 10 ranking of the New Year as the Wolves ring in 2009 in the No. 5 position.

Alberta, UQTR, and Saskatchewan hold steady at positions 1-3 while UNB moves up one position to No. 4. Laurier stays at No. 6 while Moncton is No. 7; falling three positions from No. 4 in the last ranking. St. Marys remains at No. 8 while Lethbridge and Waterloo flip flop between the No. 9 and 10 spots from the last poll.
