Lakehead hockey fans got a special treat Thursday at Montanas Cookhouse in Thunder Bay when players of the Thunderwolves mens hockey team appeared at diners tables as the lunch rush waiters.
The special event, entitled Theres a Puck in my Soup, ran from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and served as a way for Wolves fans to meet the team and for the players to say thanks to the best fans in Canadian university hockey.
Players on duty included Lakehead Captain Joel Scherban, Jeff Richards, Mike Jacobsen, Drew Kivell, Shandor Alphonso, Brad Priestlay, and Chris Whitley.
