Lakehead University and the Thunderwolves hockey program are pleased to announce that Head Coach Bill McDonald has added Goalie Coach Colin Zulianello to the staff.
This is Zulianellos second stint with the Thunderwolves after a one-year hiatus to work as an Assistant Coach for the Thunder Bay North Stars of the SIJHL. He had previously served under former Thunderwolves Head Coaches Don McKee, Joel Scherban and Mike Busniuk from 2008 to 2013.
Zulianello played goal for the Colorado College Tigers of the NCAA from 1997 to 2001, and then for several teams in the AHL and ECHL from 2001 to 2005.
Its great to have Colin joining our staff as Goaltender Coach, McDonald said. Last year we went without one, and in todays game it's a great resource to have. Zulie will once again take that role and help make our goalies better.
