Lakehead University Thunderwolves 50/50 raffle

Rules of Play for 50/50 Raffle:

1. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older to enter the Thunderwolves 50/50 Raffle which is conducted by Lakehead University.

2. The raffle will be available through out the season at every Lakehead University Thunderwolves Hockey game and Basketball game ; the Raffle will take place during the 3^rd period of these games

Tickets are available for purchase at the following prices: $5 dollars for 1 ticket, $10 dollars for 5 tickets and $20 dollars for 40 Tickets
For Hockey games tickets will be available for purchase in person throughout the building at Fort Willam gardens (901 Miles St E, Thunder Bay, ON P7C 1J9 ) for home games only.
For Basketball Games Tickets will be available for purchase in person throughout the gymnasium at the Wolf Den (955 Sanders Dr, Thunder Bay ON, P7B E1) for home games only .
The Tickets will be available online at https://thunderwolves5050.com/ .
If there is a both a basketball and hockey game occurring simultaneously then proceeds from ticket sales will be combined and a single winner will be paid based on 50% of the total money collected.
Tickets will be sold using the electronic raffle system supplied by Ascendfs.
After buying in person tickets, patrons will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
If tickets are purchased online then they will receive there registered numbers electronically instead.
The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that day/game
For Hockey home games the amount of the 50/50 will be displayed on the kiosk monitor in the lobby of the Fort William Gardens.
For basketball home games the amount of the 50/50 will be displayed at the venue
For online raffles the amount will be displayed on the websitehttps://thunderwolves5050.com/
The winning number will be announced over the public address system during a stoppage in play in the third period at both locations. A cheque will be sent by mail to the address provided by the winner.
If the winner purchased the ticket online then they will also receive an email.
If the winner is not in attendance at the event, they may claim their prize by contacting Jaimie Mintenko at Lakehead University (email: Jmintenk@lakeheadu.ca , phone # 807-343-8010 ext 8808). The ticket may then be brought to 955 Sanders drive, Thunder Bay Ontario, P7B 5E1 at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies.
The winning ticket holder has 6 monthsto claim their prize from the date of the draw.
Winners will be required to provide their full name, address and phone number upon claiming their prize. Once the certified winner is verified, they will be mailed a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that event. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
If no winner comes forward, the number will be repeated over the PA system and posted on the kiosk monitor in the lobby of the Fort William Gardens, the front desk of the Wolf Den and as well as the website, thunderwolveshockey.com. At subsequent events, the number will be posted at each selling station. The winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than Lakehead University, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Thunderwolves Hockey 50/50 raffle: Any person assisting in the conduct or management of this lottery event may have any monetary interest in ticket or have or have a chance to win the lottery prize in any way.
The above set of Rules will be posted at each event.
